My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone, we wanted to introduce ourselves. We are the bonded pair of brothers named Poptart and Payday. Some of our other siblings are also available for adoption as is our mom, Ivy.

We were actually born at a local shelter when our mom was captured by animal control as a stray bun. The day after she was brought to the shelter, she gave birth to eight bouncing baby buns. Although this shelter takes wonderful care of all its animals, a shelter is no place for a nursing new mom, so we were all taken into rescue. Ivy was a great mom, and all the babies are now grown and altered.

We are now 7 months old and have been neutered and vaccinated against RHDV. We are about 4 lbs each and are full grown. We are very bonded to each other and need to be adopted together.

We are a fun and playful pair of buns and love to run and play. We are eating a proper diet of Oxbow timothy hay, timothy pellets and a big bowl of fresh water. We love our daily salads of dark leafy greens of things like romaine, parsley and carrot tops plus some little treats weekly of apple, carrot and banana.

Although we had a rough start, we are sweet guys so would you consider opening your heart and home to two cute guys like us?

Additional adoption info

All adopters are required to sign an adoption contract and agree to provide a forever indoor home for their bun. Single bunnies are 85.00 and bonded buns are 150.00. If for any reason you are not able to keep the bun they are to be returned to the rescue.

Go meet their pets

All bunnies are kept in foster homes so please email us and we can make arrangements for you to meet.

More about this rescue

After fostering for over 20 years I decided it was time to open my own rescue. Bunnies are intelligent caring sensitive creatures who blossom in the right environment. They have much more spunk and personality than most people realize . You will be a convert once you have the chance to experience first hand how wonderful a compainon they can be.
