Jay is a 2 y/o, 5lb Dutch mix. He is neutered and litterbox trained. His foster describes him as curious, energetic, and adventurous.
He happiest near other animals and while free roaming; his ideal home will is one with a small / medium size dog, cat or other bunnies with the same energy to run and play with him.
Jay is very brave and will run right up to his foster's cat and kids with no fear or hesitation. He's a little shy around their chihuahuas but they have come right up to him and he's not scared of them at all.
He loves to free roam and explore! Especially hoping on the couch or under it or running on the back ledge. He's a climber and is always trying to hop to the highest peak for a better view. He will also wedge himself in any space no matter how small just to explore it. And he loves to run through his tunnel
If you lay on the floor he will run up to you and check on you.
Jay is absolutely perfect about his litter box the only time you see something out of place is cause he hopped out in such excitement for food and knocked a pebble out. He likes to run off with the brush and do circles to try and grab it when brushing him, it's always play time with Jay lol.
Any food make Jay excited. Whether it's his pellets, greens, treats, strawberries, blueberries anything! Jay shows he's a trusting and brave boy by eating out of your hand. He can be trained to do tricks as is very treat motivated. He responds to his name and is just a very good boy.
Has not ever chewed on baseboard but does have a thing for plastic or rubber so his family will have to keep a close eye on him while he explores.
You can apply to adopt him here: https://pennyandwild.org/adopt/rabbits/adoption-application/

SOS FL Animal Rescue is a non-profit rescue for rabbits and guinea pigs. We are animal lovers who are experienced rabbit and guinea pig owners. We both fostered small animals with other rescues for years before meeting each other and deciding to start our own rescue so that more rabbits and guinea pigs could be saved. We take in all rabbits and guinea pigs, including unwanted animals, seniors, and medical cases.
