My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy is a charming Pekinese-mix who, along with four other dogs, was rescued from a hoarding situation in another county several years ago. This background has understandably made her a bit fearful and skittish, and while it may take some time for her to fully overcome her anxiety, we assure you that she is gentle and not aggressive at all. Weighing approximately 19 pounds, Daisy has previously thrived in the company of other small dogs. Unfortunately, though she was adopted 2 years ago, she was returned to us due to her owner`s incapacitation. Although she remains a bit timid initially, with patience and understanding, she blossoms into a loving companion. Ideally, Daisy would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, as she is not fond of leash walking and prefers to avoid inclement weather. She would also enjoy having another small dog as a companion. If you believe you can provide the nurturing environment Daisy needs, we invite you to submit an adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.
