Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This handsome hunk of a guy is Kokomo who is around 2 years old and 40lbs. Kokomo was adopted and returned to a Florida shelter for nipping at children, which can be an issue with herding dog and small kids. The best home for him would be a quiet home with a more mellow type dog and no small children. Kokomo is a little unsure of loud noises.
Kokomo is not fond of the crate but has shown himself to be trustworthy outside the crate because he is a very good boy. He is very food motivated and listens well. He loves attention as well. He also loves car rides and rides well in the car, and is pretty decent on leash. He is house trained and uses a doggy door. He shows interest in balls and toys.
Kokomo has had a tough time and needs a new beginning with patient and kind adopters to give him his happily ever after that he so deserves. If you would like to give him a furever home, here is our application:
https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.
