Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Finn" and his brother came to us around 12/7. They are coonhound mixes...maybe with lab? They are only about11-12 weeks old, so you can see by their size that Finnegan will be a big boy! He is super sweet and we sure would like to see them in loving homes soon. Finn is more cautious than his brother Colton. He takes things slower, is a bit timid and will do well in a home that's a bit more calm, with gentle kids or adults only. He is a happy, playful pup-- with toys, his brother and humans, once he warms up! He LOVES to be held and snuggled. Like all puppies, he will need to learn puppy manners, including house-training. Don't let this adorable boy grow up in the shelter! Come meet him soon!

We do ADOPTIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, on a first-come/first serve basis. The best way to make an appointment is to click the blue "Book Now" button at the top of our Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/maccoanimalcontrol. Since we generally do first-come, first-serve adoptions, we highly recommend making an appointment as soon as possible. PLEASE WRITE THIS PET’S NAME in the note section of the appointment form, so we know who you want to see. In many cases, you can take the pet home the same day.

If you RENT, we need written confirmation from your landlord that you can have a pet.
We are a rural animal control with limited resources and depend on both local and out-of-county folks to adopt our pets. We appreciate you looking!
