My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bowie is an adorable and loving 9 months old male Shepherd mix. He is 28 lbs, and we think he'll sty a medium sized dog. He has puppy energy of course, but is not overly hyper. He is very loving and affectionate with all people. He is shy of new people at first, but once he warms up (which happens quickly), you'll see how loving and snuggly he is!

He is a little frightened of other dogs so will benefit from someone who can help socialize him with them. Right now he would do best in a home without other dogs, or with slow and controlled introductions to dogs.

He is mostly house trained and walks well on a leash, and walks well alongside other dogs on leash.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

There is an application process, and a tax deductible donation fee, which includes all up-to-date vaccinations and the dog's spay or neuter. We may opt to do a homecheck, but will discuss during the adoption finalization.

We also require a one week "trial period" with the dog to make sure that you and the dog get along well. After the one week period, we will either move forward with the adoption if the adopter so chooses, or the potential adopter can return the dog to Pacific Pups Rescue without penalty.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We have a space in Culver City and in Redondo Beach to hold adoption fairs, which we will begin holding shortly. For now, please contact info@pacificpupsrescue.com to find out where you can meet our dogs!
