My name is Max!

Max is around 5 yr old neutered male terrier mix that reminds us of the ‘70’s movie star Benji. He has really blossomed into quite a character since we got him several years ago. He was initially distrustful and snarky when he first arrived. We worked hard to get him to the happy, goofy boy he is today. He now craves attention and is a sucker for belly rubs. He debuted at our last Zoom Room event and he did amazing. He loved everyone he met and demanded belly rubs. He was Santa’s favorite! He plays well with most dogs after proper introductions. We have not cat tested him but we can. He is crate and house trained but does have the occasional accident. We do recommend a belly band to prevent accidents when first going to a new home as we expect him to be nervous. Due to his previous snarky attitude we will not let him go to a home with children under 15 yrs or age or a home where younger children visit frequently. This handsome guy is ready to start his new life with someone that will give him the love and attention he deserves and will make sure his snarky days are behind him.
