Birdie knows she doesn't belong in a shelter—this elegant young lady is wondering how she ended up here. We do ADOPTIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, on a first-come/first serve basis. The best way to make an appointment is to click the blue "Book Now" button at the top of our Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/maccoanimalcontrol. Since we generally do first-come, first-serve adoptions, we highly recommend making an appointment as soon as possible. PLEASE WRITE THIS PET’S NAME in the note section of the appointment form, so we know who you want to see. In many cases, you can take the pet home the same day.
No need to email us prior to making an appointment, unless you have a specific question. If you have trouble with online booking, please email us. Appointments are available:
Mon., Wed, Thurs.~ 10am-2:30pm
Fri. & Sat.~ 8:30-Noon

If you RENT, we need written confirmation from your landlord that you can have a pet.
We are a rural animal control with limited resources and depend on both local and out-of-county folks to adopt our pets. We appreciate you looking!
