Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Bopper. Life started a little tough for me, but you wouldn’t know it if you saw me now. I’m a happy growing puppy who wants to play, play, play. I’m happiest when I’m chasing and wrestling with my brother Dopper outside or taking a walk, although meal time is a close second! I’m food motivated and a quick learner. I learned “sit” and “down” really fast because I really wanted the snacks my foster mom bribed me with. I’m not really a timid dog, but I am careful and will take my time to get to know you. Once I trust you though, I’ll be your loyal friend. My foster mom says I talk a lot. I like to sing when I get excited and when my foster mom tells me I cannot do something I really want to do, I listen but I make sure to talk back a bit for good form. She says I’m quite the character! I do bark when neighborhood dogs dare to pass in front of the house and I bark at the cat in my foster home (although I have not chased it). I have enjoyed being petted and getting scratchings from my foster family, but I’m not a big cuddler. I’m too busy to cuddle, and when it is time to rest, I prefer to lay on a dog bed and chew on a toy. I am fine with the adult dogs at my foster home. They can be a bit cranky so I mostly leave them alone, although sometimes I sass them a bit just for fun. I am kennel trained and can sleep through the night without a potty break. I’m still working on potty training during the day. Sometimes I have wetting accidents in the house, but I have not had a solid accident. I am looking for a family to love and play with. My foster family thinks I will be able to thrive in many different types of situations, because I’m pretty mature (for a puppy), chill, and intelligent, but potential adopters do need to be aware that I probably will not be a quiet dog.
