My story

She will also come with a dog bed, food & water bowl and an assortment of toys!

Pretty girl Bailey: If only she could tell her story in words. We don’t know her history, but we do know her family let her down when she needed them the most. Found pregnant as a stray, Bailey had two puppies at a local shelter. Her puppies quickly found homes while poor Bailey was left behind. Shelters are scary, stressful places for most dogs but not Bailey. During her time there she was sweet to everyone. Bailey is ready to bring her calm and loving energy to your home. This beautiful brindle and white gal is estimated to be 6 years old and weighs 59 lbs. She loves pets, cuddles and naps. She is smart and easy going. Bailey is a very food motivated dog and will give 100% of her attention to any training task rewarded with a treat or snack of kibble. Bailey loves playing with toys — her favorite is a hard plastic ball that makes sounds when it rolls. She walks well on a leash and is even learning to navigate elevators. Bailey is a dog who can go places with you! She is fully house trained and is good riding in a car. Bailey does well with other dogs about her size who are confident and have a “chill out” demeanor. She doesn’t have much experience with cats so slow introductions and ongoing supervision would be needed until everyone is acquainted. Bailey is good with adults as well as older, respectful children. Because Bailey is a bigger girl, we don’t recommend a home with small children as she could inadvertently knock them over. She would love a fenced yard where she can run and play. In a home without a fenced yard Bailey would need 2-3 walks a day for exercise. Bailey would be a fantastic addition to a family who wants a dog who can go on adventures with them and also lounge at home enjoying family time. If you live in the Greater Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Bailey, please complete an application to tell us more about you.

More about this rescue

We are a small 501(c)3 dog rescue. We take owner surrenders and we pull from local shelters. We, like so many others, are just trying to make a difference.
