Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Vasya is a nine-month-old 50ish pound sweetheart who has come a long way from her time as a scared puppy in Georgia. She is accustomed to her new life in a home and is house-trained. She willingly goes into her crate when asked. Her new favorite things include burrowing under blankets, snuggling with her foster brothers, ‘oinking’ her hedgehog toy, snack time, and belly rubs.

She enjoys sunbathing and chasing butterflies (and the occasional helicopter, eternally optimistic she’ll somehow catch it) in the yard. Vasya is still learning the joys of leash walks and that the busy, outside world isn’t such a scary place. She also enjoys car rides, but sometimes get car sick. She has gotten along with every dog she’s encountered and follows the lead of the confident dog in the home. She is slow to warm up to new people, wants to be loved, and just needs to conquer her fear of the new. Once she is confident, she’ll be a glutton for attention and is quite the velcro dog.

Due to her intial shyness we are looking for a calm adult or adult teen home with a privacy fenced back yard, and a companion dog in the home who will be her buddy and playmate.
