Hello! My name is Nickel and I am a gorgeous longer haired female tabby approximately 5 years old. I was adopted from Kitty Junction as a kitten 5 years ago but sadly the male cat in the home has become very aggressive towards me after I returned home from a dental surgery. The hospital smells triggered it and despite trying very slow re-introductions his aggression has only increased. Because the male kitty in the home gets along great with the resident dog and I am afraid of the dog, my family made the difficult decision to try to re-home me. For my protection I am staying in a spare bedroom but I am very lonely and everyone involved feels I would be much happier in a home where I didn't have to live in fear.
My family has the following to say about me: Nickel is a very affectionate cat, she comes running to greet you when you come home, she loves to rub up against your leg, push her head into your hand for pets, and jump into your lap for cuddles. She likes cardboard scratchers (both to scratch and to curl up in…she loves the oval ones with sides or round ones) and soft blankets. She likes playing with interactive wand toys and simple catnip toys. She likes both water fountains and drinking out of the bowl, and she eats both dry and wet food…which she loves! Nickel will sit nicely curled in your lap and let you clip her nails, front and back. What Nickel loves most of all is being with people…she loves to be held like a baby - anything to be close - she loves love and affection! She’s funny and quick and such an amazing cat. She looks at you when you talk to her, and she loves to give you a nuzzle or touch our leg with her paw if you’re sitting down. She deserves a wonderful life as an only pet.
