Meet Ivy! She is 2 yr old spayed female American Staffordshire mix that weighs 55lbs. She came in as a stray on 12/29 to the Mesquite Animal Shelter. Ivy is absolutely so sweet, gentle and 150% lovebug! Her tail wags non stop, with a big grin on her face and you just have to give her hugs and kisses! She will cuddle next to you or put her paws in your lap and you will just smile. She walks well on a leash, takes treats gently, and I feel she has been crate trained. She enjoys running through the shelter yard getting her exercise, tho she didn't have much interest in toys. She also told me that she prefers being an inside pup where she can cuddle close to her own family. As we walked through the shelter with other dogs barking, she didn't pay much attention, but we do always ask if there will be another dog in the home to please ask the shelter for a dog test. If you would like to have a smile on your face every day, Ivy is the girl for you. She has so much love to give! Come spend some time with Ivy.
