My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nutmeg and Pistachio are a gorgeous, outgoing, amber-eyed, sweet, playful and lovable, one-year-old, eight-pound female cat sisters looking for a loving guardian.

Nutmeg and Pistachio lived with an entire family of cats, but the family didn’t believe in spaying and neutering so the number of felines in their apartment got way out of hand.

So, the cats were relinquished to Friends of Petraits Rescue.

Pistachio (the pastel tortoiseshell) loves all people including respectful children. She’s also good with other cats, and doesn’t seem to mind dogs at all. Nutmeg (the pastel calico) is a little shyer with dogs, but equally sweet and loving.

They are currently being fostered at a doggie daycare, so they are accustomed to the sounds and smells of dogs.

They would love a home with people who will dote on her them for life. They are well-behaved in the home and use their litter box faithfully.

They are extremely healthy, spayed, vaccinated for distemper and rabies, virus-tested negative, de-wormed, and microchipped.

To meet and possibly adopt Nutmeg and Pistachio, please fill out an adoption application https://friendsofpetraits.com/cat-adoption-application/

After the application is complete, please contact friendsofpetraits@gmail.com to schedule an appointment to meet her.

Their adoption fee of $150 individually, or $250 as a pair benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. They are being fostered in Chicago.
