Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Tobi, a 6-year-old Labrador Retriever mix who came to Big Dog Ranch after being surrendered by his owner, who could no longer care for him. He’s a reserved, quiet dog who takes time to adjust to new surroundings, so he’ll do best in a calm, adult-only home with someone who understands shy or timid dogs. Tobi can be selective when it comes to other dogs and will need slow, proper introductions. A home without other pets—or with a well-matched, respectful dog—would suit him best. He has moderate energy—he enjoys walks, playing with toys, and some activity, but also knows how to relax. He’s house-trained, understands basic commands, and appreciates routine. Once he feels comfortable, Tobi becomes affectionate and enjoys cuddling with the people he trusts. Because of his sensitive nature, Tobi would do best with an adopter who has prior experience with dogs, especially those who may need extra patience in the beginning. If you're looking for a calm, loyal companion who just needs a little time to settle in, Tobi could be a great fit.
