Hi, I am Jaq! I’m the handsome white piggie in the photos along with my friend Archie.

This year I am turning two years old! I have never had a family to call my own and this makes me really sad! My buddy Archie keeps my spirits up, and Archie is also eagerly awaiting the day the two of us have a family to call our own.

I was born in March of 2022 right here at Southern California Guinea Pig Rescue. For the first year and a half of my life I lived with my brother Gus Gus. Recently my brother suddenly passed away and that made me even sadder. The nice people at Southern California Guinea Pig Rescue found me a new friend called Archie. Archie was rescued from a shelter and was very lonely there. Archie, who is only a year old, is my best friend and we get along great.

Archie and I love to be around people, and we especially like to lap-sit! When we sit in your lap, be sure to give us our favorite treat - green peppers. If you forget, we will remind you next time we hear you in the kitchen! We also do really well around kids and lots of family activity.

My foster family keeps telling me that 2024 will be the year Archie and I get adopted. Can you help to make my wish true?
