So let us tell you about this adorable guy.
Diego enjoys playing with other dogs, does lack manners and respecting their personal space when he gets to excited and caught up in the moment of play. Some dogs do not appreciated this. He is best suited to play with dogs of similar or larger size, given his energetic play style.
His leash walking has come a long way and he's shown so much improvement although he can become easily distracted. A family that is active and will get him out for structured walks and outings would be fantastic for Deigo.
Diego is adept at sitting on command and is currently being trained to give a paw and lie down when asked.
Diego would thrive in a patient family environment, where he has access to a safe area to run and expend his energy. While older children are suitable, younger children might find his excitement overwhelming. Diego dislikes being alone outside unless it is for a brief bathroom break. He prefers to be near his family as much as possible but if you have to run out of the house he will go right in his crate until you return.
Diego requires a home that acknowledges his unique needs and is committed to ongoing training. Although he may never be the ideal candidate for visits to dog parks, he has an immense capacity for love and loyalty for those who provide him with a chance.
