Chester, an adorable approximately 4-year-old poodle mix weighing 10lbs, has left his cage days behind and is now searching for a forever home filled with love! This gentle soul, good with people and dogs, is curious about cats in a fun, gentle way. His house manners are coming along well, clever boy! He doesn’t have accidents as long as he’s kept on a schedule. He also enjoys walking into his crate for naps.
His newfound love for one-on-one attention sets Chester apart—he's soaking up cuddles and kisses like never before! He's one sweet boy who loves to give and receive affection. Belly rubs and bum scratches are at the top of the list.
Chester has settled into home life from the cage exceptionally well. Life is entirely new to Chester, yet he doesn't shy away. He's curious and fun. He's still learning about the different sounds and smells around him and may alert you to those things called shoes laying on the floor or sounds he's not heard before but quickly settles once he knows it's safe.
Play is something new for Chester. He gets along with other dogs, which brings him excitement and joy, but toys, he hasn't quite figured out what those are but his foster family is helping him by tossing them in the air. Leash walking is a skill he will need help perfecting but it looks as though as he is getting the hang of it.
