Hi - my name is Sweet Cheeks at the rescue, but my foster family calls me Cleo (short for Cleopatra because I'm a queen). I've had a rough go of it with ringworm, a leg surgery and now heart worm treatment, but I'm always happy no matter what. I love to play with toys and bones and in my free time I get the zoomies. Usually after the zoomies, I like to get on my foster moms bed and rearrange the pillows so I can stretch out and relax.
When my foster mom is working from home I lay at her feet and look out the window by her desk. I look up at her with my beautiful honey hazel eyes and she just melts. At night after a long day's work of playing with toys, I lay on the couch and snuggle. I love to assist her in the kitchen and follow her around when she cleans the house - she always tells me I'm a great helper.
I love kids, but my foster family is working on not jumping around little ones. I love other dogs, but sometimes I get overstimulated quickly with too many dogs at once. My foster mom said dog parks are probably not a good idea. I always try to play with my foster brother, but he is older and sometimes tells me it's not time to play.
I am crate trained and house trained. I am also working on commands with my foster family. We say "go to your house when it's time to get in the crate, sit, lay down, wait and settle. Sometimes I get the commands confused, but I practice everyday. After the heart worm treatment, we will work on my long walks on a leash.
