My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bane is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian.
Bane is good with people-he loves every person he has met. He is great with our 1.5 year old grandson. He is great with our two dogs-but does not seem to be good with other dogs. He is also not good with our cats at all. Even from his crate he tries to attack them. He has not gotten ahold of one but we fear if he did he would kill it. I really think he needs to be an only pet. He is a sweet boy with people and loves attention. He is crate trained and house broken

Additional adoption info

Please come in and visit with our pets available for adoption. Once you find an animal you would like to adopt, you will be asked to fill out an adoption survey and meet with an adoption counselor. We do require landlord approval and we do not adopt out animals to live completely outside. Our adoption fees are $75 for dogs and cats under 5 years old and $55 for those 5 years and older.

More about this shelter

The shelter has very active volunteer and foster programs. Volunteers walk dogs and help with cat care. Fosters take young, shy and injured animals into their homes to prepare them for adoption. Learn more on our website and consider getting involved today!
