Sagebrush was part of a large group of accidental babies surrendered in July 2023. He is a black and white coloration. Like most of his brothers, Sagebrush is a little skittish to be held but not bitey. More about this shelter

We are a specialty rescue for small exotic pets, such as reptiles and small mammals. We were formed by two women who met working at a nature center. In their interactions with the public they noticed a need in the area for a rescue that specialized in exotic pets, as well as a value in public education. Lost Woods Animal Sanctuary was formed with the mission to reduce mistreatment and abandonment of animals through rescue and rehoming, as well as educational outreach.
