My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Plymouth is a beautiful 4-year old female Manx/Torbie kitty who came to the HSOV on January 2, 2024 with several other cats who had shared her previous home.

Four of the kitties in her home were believed to be pregnant when they entered our shelter .. Including Plymouth, Brahma, Jersey, and Serama. Fortunately it turned out that they were not pregnant after all.

Plymouth has a brown tabby short smooth coat with orange tabby/white markings in a Torbie pattern, no tail, and an adorable brown/orange tabby face with golden eyes, a brown velvet nose, teeny 'ear tufts', and long white whiskers.

This little sweetheart has a calm, quiet disposition and a sweet, rather demure, personality.

Plymouth was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on January 2, 2024. She weighed 8.1 lbs that day. Plymouth was given booster vaccines on January 17, 2024.

Plymouth was combo tested on January 16, 2024 and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm.

Plymouth went home with one of our wonderful foster mothers on January 17, 2024 where she enjoyed being loved, spoiled, and pampered while we believed that she would be giving birth to her kittens. Fortunately, after being in her foster home for nearly 6 weeks, it turned out that she was not pregnant.

Her foster mother reports that Plymouth loves to be petted and enjoys sleeping on the cat tower or in the 'big bed' with her foster mom :) Plymouth tolerates the other cats in her foster home with occasional hissing, and she loves to play. Plymouth would likely enjoy a home with a gentle kitty playmate. Plymouth is not a fan of being picked up or held in your arms, but she is quite content to snuggle up next to you in a chair or sofa.

Plymouth was spayed on February 20, 2024 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 7.1 lbs that day.

Update: Plymouth was returned to our shelter on March 9th since her foster mother felt she would be adopted more quickly if potential adopters could meet her in person.

Plymouth is ready to find a home of her very own where she will continue to be loved, spoiled, and pampered to her heart's content. She is available for adoption and also for rescue.

Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
