Creampuff is a cute one-year old female Beagle mix who was brought to the HSOV on May 3, 2024 by a Good Samaritan who found her on State Route 530 in the Lowell Ohio area. She was accompanied by another Beagle girl (Eclair) who appears to be Creampuff's larger twin (or perhaps her mother). Neither of the girls were wearing a collar, and they were not microchipped.
Creampuff has a dark brown/tan/white short smooth coat, a long tail, and an adorable face with soft innocent eyes, a liver-colored nose, and large floppy ears which frame her face.
Both Creampuff and Eclair are super friendly and very playful.

In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Creampuff and Eclair will be held for three days so that their family will have an opportunity to reclaim them with proof of ownership.

The HSOV Adoption application is available at our shelter during normal hours of operation and may also be completed online via our website.

Shelter management reviews applications for approval. If approved, potential adopters will be notified.

All HSOV dogs and cats must be spayed/neutered before being adopted and going to their new home.

Our adoption process includes an adoption application which must be completed and approved by our shelter management. We verify veterinarian references and also approval from landlords if the pet will be housed in rental property. Home visits may also be required prior to adoption. All dogs/cats must be spayed/neutered before being adopted.
Adoption fee for dogs is $150.00 which includes vaccinations, wormer, flea treatment, dog tag, microchip, and spay/neuter.
Adoption fee for cats is $40 and includes vaccinations, wormer, flea treatment, and spay/neuter. Most adult cats (and kittens over 3-months of age) have already been spayed/neutered.
Adoption fees for other species varies.

We work very hard with our rescue groups to move our animals quickly and safely. We do this because we work for those who have no voice.
