My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

TRENTON is an owner surrender who lost his brother a couple months ago. Extremely sweet, yet spunky guy. We knew he and JASPER had a lot of potential to be the best of friends. Although no one will ever replace either of their brothers, they act like they’ve been together forever!

JASPER lost his best friend, PHOENIX, in early November and although he never lost weight, maintained his great appetite, and even snuggled with his foster mama; we knew he missed having a companion. He put on his Christmas Wishlist that he wanted a new bestie and his wish has been granted!!!

These two are big pigs with lots of love to give! JASPER prefers to be loved from the cage, with just an occasional snuggle here and there. TRENTON will snuggle with you all day long if you allow! They love all things veggies and pea flake snacks. At least 13sqft of flat, unbroken living space is required.

More about this rescue

We are a small foster based guinea pig rescue in Southern Maryland. Our 501c3 nonprofit rescue's mission is to educate the public on proper guinea pig care and husbandry as pet stores often misinform the public about cage size, nutrition, what is and is not safe, and guinea pigs are often mis sexed or sick at pet stores which leads to guinea pigs being surrendered or worse, abandoned outside. By adopting from rescues like ours, it helps to ensure adopters won't have surprise/unwanted pregnancies, unhealthy piggies, mis sexed guinea pigs while also helping guinea pigs to stay in their furever homes!
