My name is Junipyr and I am a 9-month-old, 48lb female Great Pyrenees, and this is my story.

I used to have a family. I am sure of it. What happened to them...I don't know. One moment I had them, and the next I was all alone and left to fend for myself. I spent a little while as a stray looking for a place to belong before being picked up and brought to the animal shelter. You would think that someone was looking for a fluffy cutie like me, but sadly that wasn't the case. No one ever came for me. I ended up on the urgent list and was down to just hours. Thankfully, a foster family stepped up for me and I was able to get my second chance! <3

I am a very lively and outgoing girl. I don't know that I have ever met a stranger and am always eager to befriend not only new people but animals as well. I am a bouncy and energetic girl who spends her day running in the yard, playing with the other dogs, playing with my toys, and napping. I would love getting to go places with my family and would probably love hiking. I would prefer a more active and playful lifestyle, but would be fine with a calmer one too as long as I had another playful dog in my home to help get my energy out.

I have good house manners. I am potty trained and am familiar with the kennel. I have been known to sneak some items I shouldn't so it would be a good idea if my new home were puppy-proofed. I may be bigger, but I am still a puppy! ;)

I ride well in the car and like to lie down or look out the window. I would make an amazing addition to any family that is looking for not only the ultimate cuddle buddy but also an adventure buddy!
