Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kiwi is a beautiful and sweet, six-month-old, 16-pound, female Cattle Dog-mix looking for a loving guardian.
Kiwi is fabulous with other dogs and cats. She is currently living with a dog and a couple cats in her foster home. She sleeps in bed with her family and is a super snuggler. She knows how to sit on command.
Kiwi was relinquished to a shelter in Southern Illinois by a family that had more dogs than they had time for. She adores people of all ages and enjoys the company of children.
She was transferred to Chicago’s Friends of Petraits Rescue to find the home of her dreams.
She’s looking for someone to take her into their home and heart. She is super smart and loving and would do great in a training class to help bond with her new family.
Kiwi is extremely healthy, dewormed, and vaccinated for rabies, bordetella, and distemper. She’ll be spayed in January.
Her adoption fee of $500 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. To meet and possibly adopt Kiwi, please fill out an adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/dog-adoption-application/ and follow up to meet her by e-mailing friendsofpetraits@gmail.com
She’s currently being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
