Scooby Doo
(1-2 y/o, Catahoula mix, neutered, HW-)
Scooby Doo was spotted by rescue volunteers in September, 2023. He was limping and extremely emaciated. Although he had owners, they said that they no longer wanted him, so the rescuers gave the family $20 and took Scooby home with them. Later, a veterinarian confirmed that his limp was due to an old injury. He had likely been hit by a car: his hip was severely damaged, and the muscles in his leg had atrophied. He has since received surgery and is constantly improving! Scooby Doo has a wonderful temperament. He is sweet and mellow, but also silly and playful. He gets along with other dogs, and he would love a family of his own!
