Rescue FAQs

Pet Savers is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, founded in 2005 and located in Northwest Louisiana. Our mission is to rescue, protect, and place abandoned or unwanted pets and provide funds for neutering, spaying, and other veterinary care. Our precious rescues are cared for 7 days a week, 365 days a year by a special group of dedicated staff and volunteers. Additional adoption info

Due to the current situation, we are no longer allowing casual visits to the shelter. You will need to apply with the name of the dog or cat you are interested in adopting via email. Please visit our website at www.petsaversshreveport.org to download an adoption application. Applications can be emailed back to us at petsavers@petsaversshreveport.org

Adoption fees for dogs range from $100 to $250. All pets come fully vetted (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested (for dogs).
