My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet beautiful Snowball. She is an extremely sweet, gentle dog who loves everyone and gets along with other dogs. Snowball's favorite activities are: getting attention, going on walks, getting treats, investigating new things in the yard, and playing with other dogs. She walks well on a leash and greets everyone she meets with a smile. Not only is Snowball beautiful with her blue and brown eyes,, but she is an incredibly gentle, calm soul. If you'd like to meet her in La Mesa, please contact us and we'll send you an application. Then, we'll arrange a meet and greet.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Because we want to make sure there is a perfect match between our animal's personalities and the potential adopter's needs, interests and life-style, we carefully review the adoption application the potential adopter has completed. Once the application is reviewed, the candidate is welcome to visit the animals they are interested in meeting. And, if there is an interest, we do a home visit. After that, there is an adoption fee and then an adoption contract. The entire process takes about a day.

Go meet their pets

Best way to contact us is via email: info@vegancoalition.org and we will arrange a meeting at one of our foster's homes.

More about this rescue

We take in animals that have been abandoned, turned in by owners for various reasons, and animals off the streets. Once we get the animals, they are taken to the vet for an initial exam, spayed/neutered, vaccinated and given any other needed treatment. We have dogs, cats and ducks, but would take in other types of animals if needed. Our mission is to greatly reduce the homeless pet population in San Diego County and to provide education regarding the proper care and treatment of animals as well as the significant benefits received as a result of having animals. Why do we do it? Because we love animals and we appreciate the difference they can make in people's lives. We are a small rescue and in order to expand our ability to help, could really use some dedicated volunteers as well as donations, so please consider helping out.
