Meet Lady,

This lovely lady sought out rescuers by coming to their door. She escaped the Kuwait 127-degree heat to give birth to her three lovely children just days afterward! Lady and her lucky kittens took multiple international flights to reach Chicago to find their forever homes. While her gentle nature might require a bit of time to acclimate at first, once she knows you, her affectionate demeanor truly blossoms. She harbors a wealth of love in her heart, eager to share it with you!

Lady will enjoy joining a calm adult-only home environment. She has a remarkably close relationship with her daughter Gaga and the two of them are attached at the hip. You will always find them together, sleeping, cuddling, and hanging out with one another. Gaga gets her confidence from being around her mom and is always looking to her to lead the way. Therefore, the two of them will need to be adopted together. They have a unique and close bond that is unbreakable. Gaga’s active and quirky nature complements Lady’s calm demeanor. Together they make the perfect balanced pair!

This striking gal enjoys gentle pats, especially on her butt, and though it may seem like she’s playfully running away, it’s her endearing sign for more scratches. She also loves to be brushed, which she finds very soothing and comforting. She shows remarkable patience during playtime sessions, only engaging in play for herself after her feline companions have tired themselves out. She has a particular fondness for feather lures that mimic birds revealing a delightful and playful side to her personality.

While she’s not a lap cat she does love having her face pet and will joyfully roll over for some heavenly belly scratches. Give this girl some meat treats and wet food and you have unlocked the door to her affectionate and caring spirit!

Sign Adoption Contract

You will be emailed a link to our online adoption contract. Simply fill it out online to transfer ownership from the rescue to you!

Pay Fee

Thank you for your interest in Forever Fortunate Felines. We are very happy to have the opportunity to match you with your purr-fect cat-panion!

Once you complete the online application using the below link, you will be able to discuss and ask questions directly to the foster parent. We believe this is a big advantage to you as our organization is completely foster based, we really understand our cats personalities at a deep level. This helps to ensure a great match with you and your family.

Completing our online application does not commit you to adopt from our rescue. Rather it helps us to understand your requirements and match you with the best possible cat or kitten.

Once you complete the application and it is approved, we can set up a meet and greet and if all works out, you may bring the kittens or cats home the same day. Please make sure to bring an adequately sized pet carrier with you to your meet and greet. We recommend a pet carrier which opens from the top as this is the easiest way to place a cat inside a carrier. If you do decide to adopt, we do expect you to take home your cat the same day as there are so many cats and kittens which need to be rescued from high kill shelters, we almost always rescue a new cat or kitten the very next day. If it is not possible for you to take your cat or kitten home the same day, we do charge a boarding fee of $10 per day for supplies and to encourage you to take your newly adopted cat home. We will board for a maximum of 3 days if needed to allow you time to get needed supplies.

Our adoption fees are listed at the link below. This fee includes full vetting, flea treatment, de-worming, spay surgery, FeLV and FIV test, microchip insertion, and vaccinations up to date for the kittens or cats age. We are able to PayPal or most major credit cards for the adoption fee.
