My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dulce!

After learning about 15-year-old Dulce, we let the San Diego Humane Society know that we wanted to help her. On her Freedom Ride, our volunteer treated her to yummy chicken which she gobbled up with gusto! Dulce is 15 years old and weighs 6.5 lbs.

As you can see in photos and on video, Dulce has deformed legs. As you can see, she is very determined to get where she wants to go! Dulce is also diabetic, which is managed through insulin injections.

Dulce is currently on an extended Frosted Fling, and we are so happy she is receiving extra TLC in a home! Her Fling Family reports that she is a fun and perky girl who enjoys outings to the beach and park and loves to eat, snuggle, and nap. Dulce is potty trained, crate trained, easy to handle, and good with cats, dogs, birds, horses, and pigs!

If you are interested in learning all about how to manage Dulce's conditions and being her mom or dad, please fill out our placement questionnaire.
