My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I’m Tiny! They called me that because I was so thin after having puppies. These days I’m more filled out and looking for a new place to crash! It shouldn’t be hard for me to find new roommates, I’m really easy to get along with! See, I do fine with all people, other dogs, cats, & small animals! I live with a five year foster brother, but I get really excited and play with him like he’s another dog sometimes. I’m improving at this, but should probably not go to a home with any kids young enough to be unsteady on their feet yet. I am 90% potty trained, the only time I have trouble is if I’m left uncrated overnight or during a work day (6+ hours). I do sleep in bed with my foster mom sometimes. I definitely prefer that over my kennel but I’m quiet in there when I have to be!

I love having playmates, and react appropriately to corrections from them. I could do well in an active home, or a quiet one. I like being outside exploring, but I’m also happy lounging and chewing on a good bone. If there is another high-energy dog in the household, be prepared to have to enforce strict playtime boundaries with me! If there aren’t high-energy dogs, or no other dogs, that’s fine- I’m very calm in the house when alone. I’m a bit under socialized- new places leave me subdued but not anxious. I won’t go up and greet people, but I’m okay if they come to me. Mom thinks I was mostly a stray before rescue, so all of this is new to me! I’m fairly quiet, a little vocalizing when I want attention, otherwise I only bark when new people come into the house. If a big, sweet, lovable lap-warmer is on your wishlist- I’m your girl!

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee:  $475.00
