My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

FOR ADOPTION: BULLET is a loving, people oriented 20 week old male Lab/Rottweiler mix. This sweet boy is a survivor! He contracted parvo at 15 weeks old and his previous owners chose to surrender him as they were looking at hefty vet bills. We took on those bills and in return got this absolutely adorable, loving, intelligent, and gentle young dog. Bullet was deemed non contagious by our vet on Monday so he is now out of isolation and ready to find his forever family. Looking forward Bullet will be living a very normal life, he can play with other dogs and go for walks in public areas etc. As a precaution his new family should be diligent about picking up his stools while out and about.

When you hear the breed mix Lab/Rottweiler most people assume the dog will be huge but that is not the case with our little Bullet. Given his age and current size he shouldn’t be more than 65lbs when mature. Bullet his one of the gentlest and sweetest young dogs we’ve met. He was obviously well socialized with children and he enjoys playing with them. He would love to have a playful dog friend in his life but he is not a pushy pup and has a submissive nature with the other dogs. Bullet takes his cues wonderfully from the other animals around him which makes us think he will also be very good with cats. Ultimately what Bullet wants and needs in his life is lots of time with his human family. His dream home would be with a stay at home mother, retired person/couple or someone who works from home. Bullet is a medium energy pup that will keep up on any activity you have in mind but is also happy to just chill around the house. He is a smart and food motivated boy and loves to learn and is easy to train. Bullet is non destructive with his toys and blankets and now that he is able to spend longer stretches outside he has been mostly clean in his kennel.
