Meet Roxy! Roxy is one unique girl who's had a rough go being in our boarding facility for several years now, which is never good. That said, her personality is still that of a smiley happy dog, who loves to go on walks with our volunteers. Roxy was recently fostered in a home for the holidays where she did very well, having no accidents and behaving like an angel! Roxy can be a little nervous and unsure of men, which just means men should give her time to familiarize with them, and respect her by moving slowly, and not acting like an idiot or aggressive (I'm a guy btw, I can vouch we are idiots at times). Roxy needs someone patient, but once she connects with you, she will be your best friend and love you in the most special way. If you think you are that unique opportunity for Roxy, she's been waiting!

Approximate Birthdate: Oct 2017

Adoption Fee: Roxy's adoption fee has been sponsored by the Kansas City Crime Lab!

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines: Small 1-20 pounds, Med 20-50 pounds, Large 50-80 pounds, Extra Large over 80 pounds.

For more information please fill out an application.
