Meet Kayla, a beautiful girl with a bright spirit and a whole lot of love to give!

Kayla is friendly, playful, and always ready for a good time. Whether she’s zooming around The Green or exploring every interesting scent she can find, her curious nature keeps her happily engaged with the world. She’s a little silly in the best way—her joyful personality brings smiles to everyone she meets.

On her walks, Kayla is a star. She’s good on the leash, listens well, and takes her cookies gently like the sweet girl she is. Though she’s strong, she’s incredibly affectionate and loves being close to her favorite humans. Kayla has lived with and played well with other dogs, but she’d thrive best as the only pup in the home where she can soak up all the love, cuddles, and snuggles just for herself.

Fill out an adoption questionnaire and get ready to meet with a counselor (same day!)

Meet the Pet

You'll meet with the pet with one of our adoption counselors or we will connect you with the foster home!

The Adoption Center is open M,T,Th,Fr from 12-7pm and Saturday & Sunday from 12-5pm. The Shelter is closed to the public on Wednesdays.

The Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center (MCASAC), proudly operated by the Montgomery County Office of Animal Services, provides high-standard sheltering and care to the homeless, abused, and neglected animals in Montgomery County and ensures the safety and welfare of the county’s citizens.

The Center’s doors are open to all animals in need from: dogs and cats to farm animals, wildlife, and exotics. Trained staff provide animals with daily care, mental and physical enrichment, health and wellness checks, and more. Through adoptions, spay and neuter assistance, vaccination clinics, education and outreach, the Center serves as a critical community resource to promote and advocate for responsible pet care. With community support and partnerships with other animal-welfare groups, our Foster, Rescue and Volunteer programs enhance and save the lives of even more homeless animals.
