This lovable furry munchkin is Luke! He was rescued by a Virginia Beach resident working as a contractor in Jordan as part of his efforts to save some of the many, many street cats of Amman. As his time working there winds down, he’s desperately seeking loving permanent homes for them in the US - how cool would it be to add one of these babies to your family? Not everyone has a Jordanian cat, after all!
Luke is the only survivor of a litter of kittens born prematurely at the vet’s office. Luke is fortunate to be fostered by the rescuer who brought his mother in for treatment. As an only kitten he is definitely spoiled and used to getting all of the attention he wants! He also has enough energy for two cats! He enjoys chasing his toys around the apartment almost nonstop and running a little circuit around the rooms when he has the zoomies. Little Luke is just as affectionate as he is energetic and he loves to cuddle with his foster on the couch where he will purr contentedly while nuzzling under his foster’s chin. He will meow, chirp and trill to be picked up so that he can get his ears rubbed too!
Luke interacts very well with his other foster siblings but he always tries to be a tomcat when he’s just a little guy. He will wrestle with his older foster brothers and sisters who casually ignore him. Luke would be great as an only cat but with his energy level he would be best with a buddy the same age. He has never met children or dogs so homes with them may not be a good fit for him.
Luke was born on 4/30/23 and he is up to date on all his vaccines, dewormed, flea/tick treated, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative.

We have an adoption application to learn a bit about the home our cats will be going to and the family's motivation for adoption and expectations about pet ownership. We also have an adoption contract, which includes a no declawing and indoor-only clause along with a vet promissory note that ensures you will continue with the medical care and spay/neuter if needed.
We DO NOT do any out of state adoptions except on the NC border on a case-by-case basis.
We require a donation of $120 for adoption of unaltered kittens with a PTV Contract. All kittens receive vaccine series and wormings as well as medical treatment as needed. The adopter is responsible for obtaining their rabies vaccine and spay/neuter if the kitten is not of age at the time of adoption. We can provide resources for low cost clinics that offer these services.
We ask a donation of $25 to adopt Career/barn cats.
We require a donation of at least $140 for adoption of Spayed/neutered cat.
Bonded pairs adoption donation is $200.
Sometimes we require rental checks or home inspections. We always have a Meet n Greet to make sure everyone gets along. We encourage bringing the whole family!

Our heart is in TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return of ferals), where cats are fixed, vaccinated, ear tipped, and allowed to live out their lives without reproducing. We are advocates for advancing legal and social acceptance of TNR in Hampton Roads. Our unique feral kitten socialization program has a 90% success rate in socializing feral-born kittens to become loving, in-home pets.
