My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ell hello, my name is Mrs. Biggs and I am an 8-year-old elegant lady.  I have a little white mane around my neck that makes it look like I have a fur scarf on.  I have the most stunning golden eyes and very alluring mix of grey, white and beige fur.  I was rescued from a hoarding situation with 21 dogs and 5 other cats so I can get a little irritable with other animals but I love humans.  I love to cuddle up to my foster mom, lay on her chest and make biscuits on her.  I also love all her friends and guests.  I will rub my head against your chin and show you all the love.  I'm always saying 'hi' to the neighbors and they love me!  I'm missing some teeth on my right side due to negligence in the past.  It will be ideal to have dental treats and chicken-flavored enzymatic toothpaste brushes once in a while to keep my left teeth healthy.  That way, I can eat dry food for a long, long time!  Don't be fooled by my age because I'm still energetic.  I love laser pointers and I will run, vroom, fast as a car to chase the laser pointer.  I also love catnip and I will roll around in it for longer than my fellow kitties do.  Due to my past of having to compete for food, I can be very greedy.  I will explore your trash can, lurk on your dining table, eat your food and I will get into other cats' foods and declare them all mine.  When I see food, I run knocking off everything in my path!  I've been hungry before, I don't want it to happen again :'(  Please don't hold my past against me, the longer I feel safer about my food security, the better I will get.  Due to my past environment, I had rhinosinusitis when I came to my current foster home but I'm getting better everyday.  I'm a very affectionate and loving cat and I will be your sweet companion. I am totally vetted and ready for my forever home.  If you think I will be the purrfect addition to your family please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Kitty Keanu is in Tennessee and can be transported to the northeast upon adoption.)

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
