My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Patrick has been in foster for over a year now looking for the right home. He is a sweet, loving ball of fluff who enjoys brushing and playtime - he's even ok with other animals. But Patrick gets overstimulated easily, and petting can turn to biting, playtime can turn to attacking. You see, Patrick thinks it's all in good fun and doesn't understand how sharp his claws can be.
Patrick needs a cat savvy owner who can anticipate and read feline behavior, and continue to provide Patrick with appropriate playtime and training.

More about this rescue

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
