My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Davinci is an adorable little rascal! He is blind (or mostly blind) and has a neurological disorder, CH, that makes him a little shaky. Despite that, he is a normal 1 year old playful cat in so many ways! He loves to purr and comes running when he hears you walk in the room. His favorite toys are kicker toys that he can wrestle with. He LOVES other cats and would get along well with other pets.

Even though he is blind, he has no trouble finding his food, water, and litter box. He requests some help finding his toys when he wants to play though! He is a little bitey as would do best in a home without small children.

More about this rescue

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
