My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Loves being with people. High energy, eager to learn and please. Housetrained.

Hi! Does that description sound good to you? That's me! My name is Tugger and I like to be involved with whatever is going on and would love to go on adventures. I am working on learning alternatives to those jumpy puppy behaviors and might be too much for smaller kids, but overall I'm a pretty happy-go-lucky guy and would love to have a family of humans, maybe a mellow dog, but I'd prefer to meet potential dog siblings first. See you soon!?

Please come in and visit with our pets available for adoption. Once you find an animal you would like to adopt, you will be asked to fill out an adoption survey and meet with an adoption counselor. We do require landlord approval and we do not adopt out animals to live completely outside. Our adoption fees are $75 for dogs and cats under 5 years old and $55 for those 5 years and older.

More about this shelter

The shelter has very active volunteer and foster programs. Volunteers walk dogs and help with cat care. Fosters take young, shy and injured animals into their homes to prepare them for adoption. Learn more on our website and consider getting involved today!
