Meet and greets are by appointment only with an approved application. Potential adopter is asked to travel to foster home for meet and greet. Transport is provided at no cost for adoption trials.

Adopters are offered (4) FREE 1 hour training sessions with our partnered trainer after the adoption is finialized. These sessions are offered in person if local to Hampton Roads area of VA or if out of the area, online sessions are available.

Notes: gorgeous George is a sweetie with a heart of gold. He is full of nervousness and would love a patient home to show him kindness. This boy loves other K9 friends and they help him gain confidence and be happy. Another dog in the home would be a must. George needs work on his confidence but once he's there he will be having everyone nearby stop and stare because he's so handsome

1.

Submit Application

Included in application is two personal references who are contacted and also a vet reference that is called.

Home Check

The home check can be done in person or virtually (normally through Facebook messager video chat)

3.

Meet the Pet

We allow meet and greets if local. You are to travel to pets location.

4.

Approve Application

Once all steps above are completed the application will be approved or denied (if denied we will try to help you with getting approved)

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our contract states you may not rehome pet, keep pet strictly outdoors, the pet is to be returned to our care if can not be kept at ANYpoint

6.

Pay Fee

Our adoption fees can vary. $175 for pets over 7 years old $275 for pets 7 years and under.

Take the Pet Home

Time to take your new baby home! We are always here whenever needed. Once a CCRT dog always a CCRT dog. We will always help whenever.

Additional adoption info

In contract adopted pets must be returned if not able to be kept at any point in their life. Updates are requested to ensure pet is being cared for.

We are dedicated to trapping at large strays (or owned pets) and change their lives for the better. We also focus on Hound breeds who found themselves in kill shelters and not doing well in the shelter environment.
