Meet Arnie, the adorable pup with a heartwarming story! ? Once an owner surrender after a house fire, Arnie turned his life around as a Symbiotic foster. This lovable furball was a bit on the hefty side, but guess what? He's already shed 10 pounds and counting – talk about a fitness journey! ????? He is about 90lbs now but should be more in the 70lbs range.
Arnie is not just a weight loss champ; he's a stoic, slow-going sweetheart who welcomes pets, scratches, and loves being part of the action. Whether he's finding a sunny spot to bask in, observing from his favorite spot, or whittling an antler, Arnie is the epitome of a low-key dude.
This resilient pup is not just a solo act; he's cat-approved with proper intros and gets along famously with both resident and foster dogs. Living with two cats and five canine buddies, Arnie has mastered the art of companionship. Crate trained, housetrained, and ready to be in his forever home.
Arnie does have a few lumps and bumps that come with age and a not so great beginning to life but nothing that is causing any major concerns with our vets!

Interview
We take this time to talk about your home & what you are looking for as well as letting you know more about the animals we have in our care

Home Check
The home check is completed simultaneously with the virtual interview in a Zoom call.

Approve Application
Once your application is approved, the next step is to meet the pet!

Meet the Pet
You have the option at this point to pay a deposit of half the adoption donation to hold the pet until you can schedule a meeting.

Sign Adoption Contract
We do all adoption contracts digitally and you will receive an esign document along with all the pets records.

Pay Fee
Pay the full adoption fee or if a deposit was paid previously, then the second half is due at this time.
Additional adoption info
For dogs, we have a $360 adoption fee and all dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on all shots, wormed, microchipped, heart worm tested and on preventative before adoption. This also includes a one-hour virtual training with Lucky Dogs training to ensure a seamless transition for both you and your new pup!
For cats, we have a $150 adoption fee and all cats are spayed or neutered, up to date on all shots, wormed, microchipped, and feline leukemia tested before adoption.

Our rescue is a little different in the fact that we work very hard to be a “match maker” with potential homes. If it does not work out with the pet you applied for, we would love to help your family find the next right match! None of our animals are in a shelter environment but rather living with a foster family in a home environment. Additionally, all of our animals have a 30 day minimum stay in their foster home before we even list them as available for adoption. This is so we can make sure we know as much as we can about their behaviors, likes, dislikes, quirks and habits before we try and place them in a forever home.
