Introducing Duchess & Veronica: A Purrfectly Bonded Pair!

Meet Duchess and Veronica, the dynamic duo who share a special unbreakable bond. These two precious souls have been through a lot together and are now looking for their forever home where they can continue their journey side by side.

Duchess is a shy and gentle girl who finds solace and comfort in the presence of her best friend, Veronica. She may seem reserved at first, but with a little patience and understanding, Duchess blossoms into a loving companion who adores being near her human. She's had a rough start to life, and her timid nature is a testament to the challenges she's faced. But with the support of Veronica by her side, Veronica's confidence grows stronger daily.

Duchess, was brought to us after being found under the hood of a car at the Blairsville Best Western.

When she initially came, they thought she was a boy (whoopise!) and so her rabies tag says Sir William. Obviously, we saw our error!

Go meet their pets

Visit us (by appointment only) at our physical location in Blairsville, GA 30512. Please e-mail us your contact info. and which pet you are interested in. We will happily arrange a meeting with that pet.

We also hold adoptions most Saturdays from 10-4 at the Alpharetta Petsmart. It is located across from the North Point Mall. Also Petco in Milton/Alpharetta. Please e-mail us for specific dates and locations. Not all pets at our shelter are at the adoption event. If you would like to see a certain pet at an event, e-mail us and let us know which one you are interested in.

The mission of Castoff Pet Rescue is to save and nurture homeless dogs; to match companion animals with loving, life-long homes; to foster responsible pet care; to control overpopulation in our community through spay/neuter programs; and to assist other shelters and rescue groups in any endeavor to benefit the animals. We believe that the same kindness, compassion, and generosity we extend to our two-legged neighbors should be given to our four-legged friends because they are not able to speak for themselves.
