My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jack Jack is ready to find his forever home!

Jack Jack is a 3-year-old, 14lb hunk who joined the SAYv family when one of our veterinary partners reached out to us to see if we would take on his case. His previous owners wanted to euthanize him instead of paying for a life-saving emergency surgery to resolve a urinary blockage. How could we possibly say no to this beautiful boy- especially knowing that he had a great chance at living a perfectly normal life after recovering and being switched to the right kind of food?

And we are so glad we said YES to this boy. Jack Jack has been nothing short of amazing since joining the SAYv family. This boy has showed just how brave and resilient he is- handling the stress of both surgery and a new address without even batting an eye. He is calm, cool and collected- and has yet to meet a person he doesn't like! He is excellent with children, he has no problem snuggling up next to their squirmy bodies, nor does he protest when being carried around by a tiny human that isn't what you would call graceful. He enjoys playing with wand toys and afternoon naps on the couch. He has been introduced to dogs and was fine, he does not seem to be a fan of other cats. This guy is truly special, and we can't wait to see how is story will play out.

Due to Jack Jack's history, he is currently on prescription urinary dry cat food (he refuses to eat the wet food). It is recommended that he stay on urinary formula food. It is important that potential adopters understand his dietary requirements.

More about this rescue

WE SAYv ANIMALS.
SAYv Animal Organization is a startup animal welfare organization focused on gettings things done.
We have 2 permanent programs running right now, with the objective to increase our manpower and reach to create new programs including farm animals.
Solutions: We help other nonprofit organizations create and execute life-saving solutions and provide support for critical operational initiatives.
Rescue: We have officially started our rescue efforts!!

Unfortunately, since we are a start-up organization with limited funds we have to focus on perceived "easier" cases whenever we can, JUST UNTIL we get a solid financial base and network. We fully intend to help open-admission shelters save ALL at-risk animals, including the hard cases.
