My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome River to CCPAL foster Program. River is an 11 week old puppy that weighs about 6 pounds. He is the sweetest boy. We think his breed is Chihuahua/Sheperd. He looks like a teeny GSD but we don’t think he will weigh more than 25 pounds. He isn’t growing fast so he will be a smaller dog that looks like a GSD. He has adorable widow’s peak and may have upright ears. He was found as a stray on the streets of San Antonio. He was picked up by a good Samaratin and is now in CCPAL foster program waiting for his forever home. He is good with other dogs, good in a crate, goes on a wee pad, smart, attentive and likes to go everywhere in a doggy backpack. He is a really adorable puppy. He had his second round of puppy distemper vaccines today and will have a 3rd in 2 weeks. He will then be neutered and ready for his forever home. He is healthy sweet and since he is in foster care, he is very attentive and on a good schedule. He would be great with a family that has children. We like them to be 8 or older when adopting. We also would like the adopter not to work 8 hours everday. A puppy needs socialization and time with their humans to finish up the puppy training. He is a wonderful pup and will make some lucky family a good addition to their family. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.
