My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dog Name: Akira

Age: 1 year old (as of 9/17/23)

Gender: Female

Weight: 14 kilos / 28 pounds

Breed: Husky Petite size

Spayed/Neutered? Yes

Vaccinated? Yes

Heartworm Negative? Negative

Good with dogs? Yes

Good with kids? Yes

Good with cats? We don´t know

Has experience on a leash? Yes

Potty trained? Yes, clean in her area at her foster home. Will adjust rapidly to new house rules.

Crate trained? Yes

Where does the dog stay when it is alone? In a garden section of the house.

Where does the dog sleep? In her foster house in her dog bed.

Temperament/Personality: She is very smart, active, has the livelihood of a dog her age and open and fun to be around with. She loves to play and likes interactive activities with other dogs.  At the same time Akiara can be calm by your side as she loves human companion. Eventhough Akiara is a Husky, she is only a Husky on the outside, since she is so well balanced and well behaved. Akiara gets along pretty well with kids and enjoys playing with them.

What does the dog's ideal home look like? A home of a dog lover or a couple that love to do outdoor activities and have another dog at home or family with kids (please note that puppies or young dogs prefer the company of older kids and up, as they can be reactive if they’re not properly treated by young children).

What is the dog's rescue story? Akiara was rescued on the outskirts of Guadalajara city when she was only 4 months old. She was starving looking for food and fortunately she ran into her rescuer who couldn´t leave her and took her into her care.

Akiara is waiting in Mexico until she has a commited trial family.
