Bonnie is a southern belle, coming to us from Georgia, with the type of eyes that seem to stare right into your soul. This 1-2 year old girl is fun-loving, outgoing, and very affectionate! She has only been with us a short time but seems to know some commands and is very attentive to people around her. She has not been dog tested yet with us, but we are told she was the "play-group rockstar" at her previous shelter in Georgia. She is a bit exuberant (she has a zest for life, what can we say?) and needs to work on jumping up to say hi, so small children under the age of 7 may not be suitable for her at this stage of her training. Bonnie is seeking an active family with an adventurous spirit! If you want to learn more about Bonnie, please call the shelter at 516-869-6311 or email us at animalshelter@northhempsteadny.gov for more information on the adoption process.
*Reminder* We are currently facilitating adoptions through appointment only. If you arrive at the shelter without an appointment to meet a dog, we may not be able to assist you.
Please call the shelter (516-869-6311) during working hours (Mon. to Fri. 9AM-4PM; Sat. 10AM-4PM) for more information about this dog, the adoption process at the shelter, and to confirm availability.
