My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Introducing Jessie "Baby Kitty"! 🐾

Name: Jessie (a.k.a. Baby Kitty)
Age: 17 years young
Breed: Domestic Longhair
Gender: Female

Hello, wonderful humans! My name is Jessie, but my poppa always called me Baby Kitty, and it's a name that suits me just fine. I've had quite the journey in my 17 years, and I'm ready to embark on a new adventure with a loving family who will cherish me as much as my momma and poppa did.

You see, my momma passed away about five years ago, and my poppa joined her on New Year's Day. It's been a bit lonely without them, but I'm still full of love and affection to give. Despite being 17 years young, I'm as sprightly as ever and ready to help you keep your couch warm on these chilly winter days and nights.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm a connoisseur of wet food and kitty treats, and I'll never say no to a good furminator brushing session to keep my long silky fur looking fabulous. I may be a little feisty at times, but hey, who isn't? It just adds to my charm! I do not tolerate other felines well and may need my own kingdom but my foster family is experimenting this theory.

Back in my heyday, I spent a lot of time in the company of small dogs, but sadly, they've all crossed the rainbow bridge due to old age. However, I'm open to making new furry friends if given the chance. Growing up in Lodi's wine country, I enjoyed the freedom of a kitty door and loved prowling outside in the warm weather in my safe backyard. Ah, those were the days!

My recent health check at the vet was very positive, and they even gave me a rabies vaccine to keep me in tip-top shape.

I believe I would thrive best in a calm, loving, kitty-friendly home with folks who appreciate the uniqueness of feline companionship. If you're seeking a loyal and affectionate companion who will bring warmth and joy to your home, then look no further than me, Jessie "Baby Kitty."

If you think we could be a purrfect match, please reach out to SOKS today to arrange a meet-and-greet. I can't wait to meet my new forever family and start this exciting new chapter of my life with you!

With love and purrs,
Jessie "Baby Kitty" 🐾

More about this rescue

Save Our Kitties Stockton is a non-profit organization, dedicated to improving and saving the lives of feral and stray cats. We focus on the TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release).

This organization helps find new homes for both kittens and cats so they can live their best, healthiest lives. In our feral cat colonies sometimes we find cats that are not feral. Abandon/Stray cats are not alert and don't have survival skills as feral cats do, so we try to find them a safer environment. This is when we make them available for adoption.
