My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Teddy Roo is a special little pup. He has had a rough life so far but is ready to leave that behind
and find his fur-ever home. He is very nervous with new introductions but is a cuddle bug once
he warms up. He would love a quiet home where he can lay on the couch and snuggle with his
people. He very skittish so he will take some extra time and patience to finally feel at home. He
currently uses a cage as his safe space when he is feeling nervous but he loves to lay on
anything soft. Even though he is nervous, he is not aggressive at all. He loves to follow his
foster mom all over the house and to be as close to her as he can.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The adoption fee is generally based on the dog's age and provides for neutering or spaying, all required shots, heartworm testing (we endorse "the new moxie-doxy" treatment for heart worms).

It is our expectation & a requirement that heartworm preventative be continued as well as any required vet visits after the pet is adopted.

If for some reason a match isn't made the first time around and you are approved, we will keep your application on file for the next opportunity to arise. Our primary goal is to place a dog in the most suitable environment, based on the animal's individual needs and its temperament. The commitment is lifelong and the Boston's interests are always foremost.

More about this rescue

All breeds have their own particular needs and rescued pets often have special requirements as well, very often in want of medical care, often lacking nourishment and kindness, and often expensive to rehabilitate.

Because we have had Boston Terriers for many years, we are very familiar with their habits, peculiarities and their special needs.

We operate across the southeast under the auspices of the Boston Terrier Rescue Network. We share information and resources in all of the USA with affiliated Boston Rescues.
