Atlas is an affectionate, gentle, and shy boy. He has a lap cat personality with adventurous habits. He loves following his favorite humans around the house and curling up next to them the moment they sit down. He never scratches or bites people—his temperament is very calm. He can be shy around humans he hasn’t met before and will find refuge in dark, quiet places when he needs time alone. His go-to spots are underneath a bed, couch, bedsheets, and inside closets, and you will often find him napping in these spots too. After he gains trust in a new person (you can win him over with a tube treat), he will be his usual loving and affectionate self. Atlas has been around cats and dogs (he currently lives with another cat) and is curious and eager to interact with new animals.

His favorite toy is a laser pointer, and his favorite pastime is sitting on a porch/balcony (in his harness and leash) watching the nature around him. Being outside makes him very happy, and in warmer weather he goes on walks. Atlas would do best in an environment where there is another pet or where his owner/family is home frequently.
